Mr. Mell is a mining executive and capital markets professional with extensive international transactional experience acquired through more than 200 transactions, including M&A and over $2.6 billion in equity and debt financings. After a career as a Bay Street lawyer, Trent worked for both global producers and junior miners and at all stages of the mining lifecycle, including exploration, feasibility studies, permitting, mine development and production. More recently, he built a securities team to advise issuers and investors on Canadian exploration and development opportunities. In 2016, his team raised $300 million in equity investments and became the largest provider of flow through capital in Canada. Trent is Chairman of the Board for the Boost Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, a world-renowned child abuse prevention and intervention centre. His leadership style is premised on empowering people, actively engaging with stakeholders and challenging the status quo. Mr. Mell previously served as President & Head of Mining at Peartree Securities (2015- 2017), President & CEO Falco Resources (2014-2015), Executive VP, Corporate Affairs, Aurico Gold Inc., Several Executive Positions at North American Palladium Ltd.
